TITLE01 02 EDDIE LIVES (CON'T)
A great movie. We can learn things (good things/positive things) from some movies.
What makes great music and/or a great musician?: A musician may think you're great just because you play music and/or sing a song, that's not the case. Sometimes we get "too big for our bridges", as they say. We get a big head just because "we think we are doing something great". Great music does not come from playing "for attention and/or to be a showoff", rushing as if to compete with others, throwing any old thing together, just to say that you have accomplished something?? Good music, the best music, has fire and passion. You put your heart and soul into what you do, into your words and your music. You try to find just the right words and put feeling into them. You play/write your music as if you can honestly feel what you are playing/writing/singing. This is some good music in my opinion. I don't think anyone can feel the fire and passion in it. I've seen/heard different musicians and sometimes "truth hurts/they don't want to hear it". They may think they're great, but in reality, they are not as great as they "think they are". To be a great musician/artist, first of all you need to start off with the right and not the wrong attitude. What are reasons for doing what you do? Is it mainily to show off and/or just for some money or you really want to be a great musician who has "real talent" and you are proud of what you do? Some musicians I've seen and heard "they are just playing/singing", any old kind of way, just to say they did something? That's not the way to do it. If you are not going to focus, concentrate on your sound, on your rhythm, on putting feeling and emotion into what you sing/play, you are wasting your time. You will never get notices by those who know "real talent" when they see it. I've seen some people perform and my feeling were like "what are you doing this for". Watching them perform It was so clear and easy to see that they were not heading anywhere good anytime soon. Their attitude/behavior was more about playing for show and/or to be a showoff. As a musician, until you get the right behavior/mentality together, wake up and smell the coffee as to what makes great music/talent, you where never reach that point where you want to be. Never feel too high that what you really are. You will only be fooling yourself. Not those who know "real talent when they see it/hear it". Check out some of the videos from Eddie and the Cruisers, they can teach you something if you are willing to get the picture.

TITLE01 02 EDDIE LIVES (CON'T)
Check this video out. It has a story to tell. Never judge a person's talents
when you know nothing about them at all. You may be surprised and not
the person who has the last laugh.
